Hey everyone,

I just got winamp 3 and it seems to run better for me than 2.91 did. I don't know how screen-reader-friendly it is because... well duh... I don't use one, lol. The hardest thing to figure out was the equalizer, but I was able to do a little fancy mouse-work (as I can see well enough to use one) and get things set right. Post your opinions of winamp 3 here and if you don't have it yet, try it if you want so you can post here, lol.

Interesting, I have talked to many sited persons (mainly anticonformest geeks, of course) who hate winamp 3 with a passion and refuse to use it.

In the spirit of those as revive old boards, here we go ... this is the oldest one on the system I think.
So now a few versions later of winamp, maybe some of you all have discovered Winamp for the first time since this was created. Still works good.

Holy shit, this is old...I love Winamp. When this topic was created, I think there was some problems with it causing viruses, but now I would never go back to using Media player or anything else. I've tried a couple others over the years since I fond Winamp too, such as gom Player and ITunes, but always came back to Winamp. Right now I'm in love with the auto-tagging feature that I discovered a few days ago, and I just love this program in general. I also love the shuffle feature, it's a lot easier to get to than in Media Player.

Wow....this is old! A perfect example of how technology and programs can change so vastly over just a few years.

Yeah. I was kind of thinking the same thing. It's still an interesting topic though.

Hello All,

Well I was surprised by how old this was, probably used Winamp from a year or two after this I.E. 2003! LOL

And of course, it goes without saying, it is accessible nowadays, I'd say (what about any of you) that is one of the more/(if I dare that is) most accessible programs today, so wow, things do change!

BTW, I in fact, had never heard of version 3.0, I had used a version 2 for a while, but was there ever a version 4.0?

Well I never! LOL/:) What ever next!!!

Best wishes to All on here,
Timothy Bamber AKA Timber
